The city of Denia is located in Alicante province of Spain. It lies within the Costa Blanca in between Valencia and Alicante. The nearest resort area to Denia is Javea. In July, there is the Bous a la Mar festival which literally means bulls at sea. What happens over the week is a festival where bulls are dash down the street called marquees De campo and then they are chased into sea which in this case is the Mediterranean. To do this, a lot of courage is required so as to help a person enter the set ring with the bulls. It is a very daring practice but a fun one to watch none the less.
